The government has introduced a raft of measures aimed at creating a more supportive working environment for grassroots administrative officials. Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen said the reforms include increased operational funding for chiefs and assistant chiefs. He also announced that village elders will undergo digital literacy training to enhance service delivery at the grassroots levels.
