The magistrates' court will tomorrow issue directions on the plea-taking of Mukurweini MP John Kaguchia. The decision followed a dramatic incident in which the MP reportedly left the court premises, contrary to the court’s directive, disrupting the proceedings. Kaguchia is facing a charge of offensive conduct conducive to a breach of the peace. The court released him on a cash bail of 250,000 shillings or a bond of 1 million shillings pending further proceedings.
