‎Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has stepped up campaigns for President William Ruto’s re-election, urging residents of Samburu County to support the Kenya Kwanza administration as it pursues its development agenda.

‎Kindiki spoke during a public sensitisation event in Maralal, Samburu County, where he was accompanied by Governor Lati Lelelit and a number of leaders from the region.

The DP used the engagement to highlight the government’s development priorities while drumming up support for Ruto ahead of the 2027 General Election.

‎Kindiki and the leaders sought to strengthen the administration’s grassroots networks in Samburu and rally residents behind the President’s second-term bid.

‎The visit comes as Kenya Kwanza leaders intensify political mobilisation across the country, with senior officials increasingly using public engagements to promote the government’s record and consolidate support ahead of the 2027 polls.

‎The DP has been leading efforts to explain government programmes to citizens and emphasise the administration’s focus on inclusive development and improved service delivery.
