US-based Kenyan nurse and content creator Nurse Judy has revealed that she earned about $20,000 (approximately KSh2.6 million) in just two weeks through concierge, or private, nursing, while also sharing personal details about her financial planning and desire to have a third child.
"I made about 20k in two weeks with concierge nursing," Nurse Judy wrote.
"I never keep more than $500 in my checking account. I always distribute my money toward bills, investments, and other projects," she explained.
"I was supposed to transfer $22,000 back to my checking so it could be allocated according to my financial plan. When I checked my account, the money was still there, and I thought, 'Damn, why is it still sitting in my checking account?' I really don't like keeping large amounts of money there," she added.
Planning for a bigger family
"I really want a third baby. I always wanted four babies. Last year I tried conceiving, and I was actually hoping for twins," she shared.

She disclosed that she is considering surrogacy after experiencing challenges conceiving naturally.
"I'm considering surrogacy, but I guess I will explore this option in Kenya because I know if I try it in America it's going to be hella expensive," she said.
Balancing financial goals with personal dreams

Her comments come days after she advised Kenyan nurses planning to relocate abroad to adopt a more patient-centred approach, stressing that professionalism, kindness and respect are essential in healthcare systems such as that of the United States.
