ODM leader Oburu Oginga has called for equitable distribution of development, saying all regions must benefit from national resources. Speaking in Turkana, he insisted that ODM will not be absorbed into the broad-based government arrangement and will pursue its own agenda. Oburu maintained the party will not operate under UDA policies as it continues negotiations with UDA ahead of the 2027 General Election.
