Director of Public Prosecutions Renson Ingonga has cautioned politicians against hate speech and the use of hired goons at political gatherings, warning that offenders will face the full force of the law. Speaking in Mombasa, Ingonga noted a worrying rise in organised violence at such events. He assured Kenyans that authorities are prepared to enforce the law, restore order and ensure all those responsible are held accountable.
