National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula has clarified that MPs may wear various colours in the chamber but are barred from displaying party symbols or coordinated partisan attire. He said such dress will only be permitted during special events, including swearing-in ceremonies. The directive follows an incident where over 11 MPs allied to the DCP Party attended the swearing-in of Ol Kalou MP Sammy Kamau in matching party colours this afternoon.
