The National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK) Machakos branch has criticised the government for failing to curb the rise of goon groups threatening public safety. Chairperson Bishop Festus Malua urged authorities to act decisively against the gangs and restore order. The clergy warned that continued tolerance of such violence undermines accountability and could plunge the country into anarchy if urgent measures are not taken.
