Jean Ojiro has been crowned Miss Universe Kenya 2026 after emerging victorious during the grand finale held at the Emara Ole Sereni Hotel in Nairobi on Saturday, July 25.
In addition to the national title, Ojiro received a Nissan Note as part of her prize.
She succeeds as Kenya's official delegate to the international competition, which is expected to bring together contestants from more than 100 countries and territories.

The Road to the Crown
Ojiro secured the crown after competing against a field of finalists that included Mokera Onchiri, Mercy Awonda and Immaculate Wachera.
Wachera entered the competition with previous international pageant experience after finishing as the first runner-up at the Miss BRICS International Pageant.
The finalists participated in the pageant's various stages before judges announced the overall winner during the gala event.
The Miss Universe Kenya competition began with 30 contestants before being narrowed down to a Top 15 following an intensive boot camp held ahead of the grand finale.
The finalists took part in activities designed to assess communication, presentation, leadership and advocacy before the winner was selected.
