Content creator and filmmaker Director Trevor has publicly advised influencer Belle to pivot towards food content as she rebuilds her personal brand following her widely discussed split from Mluo.
In a message shared on his Instagram Stories, Trevor encouraged Belle to move quickly, arguing that social media audiences move on fast and that creators should build careers around sustainable content rather than personal relationships.
His advice comes after Belle's break-up with Mluo became a major topic on Kenyan social media, with many followers closely following developments surrounding her personal life.
"Speed is of the essence"
Trevor urged Belle to begin filming immediately, suggesting that her first cooking video should include a surprise appearance by Dante, a figure who has recently sparked online curiosity.

"Speed is of the essence. Right now, you should be filming your first cooking video," Trevor wrote.
He went on to explain the concept he believes could attract viewers.
"Towards the end of the video, as you're plating the food, Dante suddenly walks in. Why Dante? Because everyone is curious to know who Dante is. That curiosity will naturally drive engagement."
According to Trevor, the strategy would help capture public interest while introducing Belle's audience to a new direction centred on her cooking skills.
Building a brand beyond relationships
Trevor also praised Belle's culinary abilities, saying her talent could become the foundation of a long-term digital career.
"I've seen the food you cook, and it's genuinely impressive. Make cooking your career immediately."

He argued that relying on relationship-related content is not sustainable because internet conversations change quickly.
"Kenyans on the internet move on very fast. You can't build your brand around your past relationship forever. To stay relevant long-term, you need a content pillar that people will keep coming back for."
Trevor described cooking as an opportunity to help Belle establish a lasting online identity beyond the headlines surrounding her personal life.
A new identity
The filmmaker also proposed a name for the cooking series, suggesting that Belle launch it under the title "MI FEEDER!" instead of using "Mi Poosii."
"Avoid using 'Mi Poosii' as the primary brand name. It may limit how you're perceived in the corporate world and with future brand partnerships. 'MI FEEDER!' is broader, more memorable, and gives you room to grow beyond your current audience."

He further suggested that the first episode should be released by Monday, stressing that timing is critical when rebranding online.
Fans weigh in
Trevor's advice quickly attracted mixed reactions from social media users.
Some praised his branding strategy, while others shifted attention to separate issues surrounding the online conversation.
One Instagram user, @litiapendo, applauded the filmmaker's thinking, writing:
"Lakini wacha tuseme ukweli... Trevor is a very smart guy. Chukua maua yako kaka."
Another user, @mallonte_, echoed the sentiment, commenting:
"@director_trevor hukuwa sharp sana."
Food brand @royco_ke also joined the conversation in a light-hearted response, saying:"Don't forget to use me in this journey. MI FLAVOR TO THE MAX!!!"
Not all reactions focused on Trevor's proposal. User @cleopurrd questioned why much of the discussion centred on Dante instead of other issues, writing:
"Y'all focusing on Dante and this guy was talking to a high schooler telling her to come over at his place at 11 pm! Like where are y'alls priorities?"
