Artcaffé has unveiled its new Winter Mediterranean Menu, a vibrant seasonal collection inspired by the food cultures of the Mediterranean, the Middle East and North Africa.
The new seasonal menu turns up the heat with smoky grills, bright citrus, fresh herbs and bold new favourites, from Bone-Broth Dawa and Casablanca Chicken Tagine to shawarma wraps and jewelled rice bowls.
Every season, Artcaffé introduces new flavours to Kenya. Built around open-fire char, bright citrus, colourful vegetables and fresh marinades, the menu layers aromatic harissa, tangy sumac, za'atar and creamy tahini into dishes that feel comforting yet never predictable. It is warm, bold and fresh, created for everything from cool mornings and quick lunches to long dinners and lively tables filled with friends.
"Seasonal menus are one of our favourite Artcaffé traditions; they allow us to explore a cuisine with real energy and give our guests something genuinely new," said Jyoti Patel, Head of Culinary at Artcaffé.
"This menu has all the comfort people look for in winter, but it still feels bright and alive. There is smoke from the grill, warmth from slow cooking and spices, then freshness from lemons, herbs, chilli, pickles and colourful vegetables. It is one of the best menus we have created."
New favourites in the making
One of the menu's most talked-about additions is the Bone-Broth Dawa, a deeply comforting cup of 24-hour slow-cooked bone broth with ginger and a touch of salt. Sourced from Artcaffé's own butchery, it offers a completely new kind of winter ritual, ideal for chilly mornings, late afternoons and anyone looking for something warm, savoury and satisfying.
The Casablanca Chicken Tagine combines Moroccan chicken tagine with Persian jewelled rice, a fresh side salad and roasted almonds. Richly spiced yet beautifully balanced, it captures the menu's central idea: warmth and comfort elevated by freshness, texture and colour.
Grilled dishes feature prominently throughout the menu. The new Beef Kebab Tabbouleh combines grilled beef kebabs with freshly baked focaccia, tabbouleh rice, fries and cool tzatziki. The Mediterranean Snapper with Tomato & Olives pairs grilled snapper with olive oil, tomatoes, olives and fresh herbs, while the Chicken Tikka Skewers are served with peppers, onions and a bright lemon-coriander dressing.
For guests looking for something fast, fresh and full of flavour, the wrap selection introduces the Spicy Chicken Shawarma with hummus, pickled carrot and radish, coriander and red chilli, alongside the Beef Doner Kebab with charred peppers and lemon tahini.
The new vegan and vegetarian dishes are colourful and generous. The Adas Falafel Harvest Bowl layers falafel with butternut, beetroot, hummus, tabbouleh rice and za'atar chips, while the Arabic Bulgur Salad combines bulgur, tomato, cucumber, cabbage, parsley, mint, feta, raisins and spicy nuts in a bright lemon and olive oil dressing.
Guests can choose grill-focused, vegetable-forward or balanced options, with fresh, satisfying dishes designed to deliver colour, contrast and bold flavour in every bite.
The Mediterranean influence continues throughout the day, from Turkish Eggs at breakfast and warming Moroccan Harira soup to sharing plates such as Medina Beef Arayes and hummus bowls.
The drinks menu carries the same vibrant energy, featuring signature cocktails such as the Mediterranean G&T alongside a mocktail collection that includes the new Minted Firebird. These are complemented by the new Artcaffé wine collection, curated, bottled and labelled in the south of France by the brand's team of sommeliers.

The loyalty programme runs across the Artcaffé ecosystem, including its casual dining restaurants, gourmet food markets, gastro bars and events business.
Growing the Artcaffé experience across Kenya
Since 2008, Artcaffé has helped redefine all-day hospitality in Nairobi, transforming the café from a quick stop into a social hub for breakfast meetings, coffee dates, working lunches, family meals, dinners and celebrations.
What began as a single restaurant has grown into a nationally recognised hospitality brand with more than 60 restaurants and 10 food markets across Kenya, while remaining centred on freshly prepared food, artisanal craftsmanship, welcoming spaces and memorable everyday experiences.
The winter launch comes during one of Artcaffé's most significant periods of national expansion.
Following the brand's expansion to Kisumu and Voi, Artcaffé is opening three new locations this month in Kianda, South C and Ngong Town. New outlets in Thika Town, Tatu City, Loresho, Nakuru and Eldoret are set to follow, bringing the Artcaffé experience to more communities across the country.
Through its national expansion programme, Artcaffé expects to create more than 700 jobs across Kenya in 2026, building new opportunities for hospitality professionals as the brand grows.
"Artcaffé has grown because people have made us part of their everyday lives," said Grace Njeru, Head of Markets.
"The new Winter Mediterranean Menu, Moments and our new locations are all part of the same story. We are creating more delicious, welcoming and memorable reasons for people to come together, while creating jobs and bringing the Artcaffé experience to more communities across Kenya."
