Kisumu Governor Anyang' Nyong'o says Kenya must forge its own unique path to prosperity. Speaking at State House during an event dubbed “Journey to a First World Economy”, Nyong’o argued that the country cannot simply "copy and paste" foreign development models—such as the Singaporean blueprint—because of Kenya's unique political, social, and economic realities. He said all that’s needed for Kenya’s growth is unity of the nation.
