Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen has announced a second security crackdown in Kitale Town and surrounding areas targeting organised criminal gangs. He warned that authorities will take firm action against those involved in robbery and violence, regardless of political affiliation. Murkomen said the renewed operation aims to boost safety, support businesses, and will be replicated in other towns nationwide soon.
