Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has taken over the leadership of the Lake Region Economic Bloc after 14 governors from the regional economic bloc endorsed him as the new chairperson, taking over from isumu Governor Anyang' Nyong'o. The governors also endorsed Kisii Governor Simba Arati as the bloc's new vice-chairperson. Lusaka’s role includes steering the implementation of regional policies, strengthening inter-county collaboration, mobilising development partnerships and championing programmes aimed at improving the lives of their residents.
