Mining CS Hassan Joho has urged Coast residents not to gamble with their votes in next year's General Election. Joho said the region should heed the advice of its leaders and support President William Ruto's re-election. He maintained that Ruto is best placed to address the Coast's long-standing challenges, including development and other socio-economic concerns.
