The IEBC has declared DCP candidate Sammy Ngotho the MP-elect for Ol Kalou after he garnered 35,440 votes in the by-election. His closest challenger, Samuel Muchina Nyaga of the UDA, received 5,450 votes. The seat fell vacant following the death of former MP David Kiaraho.
