Nairobi’s entertainment scene is buzzing as the additional names join the roster for the Agave Affair. On 25 July 2026, the KICC Event Grounds will host this landmark celebration. The event is a partnership between Radio Africa Events and the KICC. It is described as Nairobi's first true homage to tequila.
New Entrants: DJ Festa and DJ Chunky Love
Two major names have been added to the decks to complete the festival’s musical journey. Peter Tinkoi Karbolo, widely known as DJ Festa, is one of the latest additions. Originally from Narok County, he is known in the industry as "The Big Man."
His path to the KICC stage is a story of persistence. He worked as a nail technician to fund his dream of being a deejay. He eventually rose to prominence under Kym Nickdee Entertainment and is now a fixture at top Nairobi venues like K1 Klubhouse.

A Heavyweight Musical Roster
These new additions join an already impressive list of performers. The lineup includes DJ Mista C, a renowned Nairobi-based DJ, producer, and live performance innovator. He is joined by DJ Tophaz, often called "Mr. 5ive Star," who has amassed tens of millions of views on his Vibez O’clock series.
International star DJ Big Chipi will also perform. She is celebrated as one of the biggest female Amapiano DJs in Kenya and Tanzania. Adding to the high energy is Tha Daqchild, also known as Gibson Mudoga. He is widely recognized as the "King of Good Times."

The Cultural Shift at KICC
The Agave Affair is designed to be more than a party. It is a flavour experience and a brand showcase. Currently, tequila is the third fastest-growing spirit category in East Africa. However, 87% of Kenyan consumers have only ever taken tequila as a shot.
The festival aims to change this by positioning tequila as a premium lifestyle spirit — not just a party shot, but a sipping experience. Guests can expect a 10-hour "curated sonic journey" that moves from Afrobeats at sunset to an Afro-fusion closing set.
Secure Your Spot
The venue will feature Brand Tents for immersive showcases and a food court serving tacos, BBQ & sliders. Guests are encouraged to follow the "Agave Chic" dress code, featuring earthy tones and agave greens.
