The National Youth Anti-HIV Ambassador Bernard Baridi says the suspension of US-funded HIV programmes has disrupted care for thousands of people living with HIV. He says the closure of donor-supported clinics ended counselling, psychosocial support and peer groups that helped patients stay on treatment, leaving many to rely on overstretched public hospitals for HIV services.
