President William Ruto has been urged to listen to the concerns of Kenyans and set aside some of the policies and initiatives he is being pressured to implement by politicians in government. Political analyst Kenza Ondiek says that many of the measures currently being implemented by the government are strongly opposed by ordinary Kenyans, a situation that has contributed to the national government's declining political support among the public. Ondiek added that if the government pays closer attention to the wishes and concerns of Kenyans, the country could see an end to the frequent strikes and protests.
