The government is pushing to align training with labour market demands to improve graduate employment. The PS for Labour and Skills Development Shadrack Mwadime says the goal is to make every graduate job-ready by transforming learning institutions into recruitment centres, where students move directly into employment after completing their studies. He said the initiative seeks to bridge the gap between education and industry by strengthening partnerships between training institutions and employers, ensuring graduates acquire skills that match the needs of the job market.
