A shortage of condoms is undermining efforts to prevent sexually transmitted infections in the country. Clinical Officer Joash Agutu of AHF Mathare Medical and Wellness Centre says although more people are requesting condoms and embracing safer sex, inadequate supplies remain a major challenge. He is calling on the government to ensure a steady supply of free condoms, saying greater access would strengthen prevention efforts as STI cases continue to rise, particularly among young adults.
