An army officer convicted of murdering his two children and their mother will be sentenced tomorrow. The High Court in Nyeri found Major Peter Mugure guilty on three counts of murder after ruling that the prosecution had proved its case beyond reasonable doubt. The killings occurred in October 2019 at the Laikipia Air Base, where the officer was stationed.
