Nairobi County Chief Officer for Citizen Engagement and Customer Service, Geoffrey Mosiria, has publicly criticised the direction of content creator Eve Mungai's recent online content, saying he plans to reach out to Director Trevor in hopes of helping her return to what he considers more professional content creation.

In a statement shared on his Instagram page, Mosiria said he had followed Eve's journey for years and believed her recent content did not reflect the standards that made her one of Kenya's most respected digital creators.

"I will personally reach out to Director Trevor and ask him to help Eve Mungai produce professional content."

Mosiria said he holds Eve in high regard because of the work she has previously done interviewing public figures and telling stories that informed and entertained audiences.

'This is not the professional standard I knew her for'

While expressing admiration for Eve's talent, Mosiria said he was concerned by what he described as videos containing nudity or sexually suggestive content.
According to him, such content does not align with the professional image she built over the years.

"What Eve is doing is, in my opinion, unprofessional, especially for someone we have always known as one of Kenya's top content creators, interviewing influential people in our society with professionalism."

He added:

"Posting videos that contain nudity or sexually suggestive content is not the professional standard I knew her for."
Mosiria maintained that his comments were based on his personal opinion and reflected his belief that influential creators should use their platforms responsibly.

Calls for content that informs and inspires

The county official said Eve possesses the talent and reach to produce content that has a positive impact on society.
Rather than criticising her career, he said he hopes to encourage content that educates, inspires and contributes meaningfully to public discourse.

"I believe her talent and influence can be used to create content that informs, inspires and positively impacts society."

Mosiria further revealed that he intends to speak directly to Director Trevor about the matter, expressing hope that the two could one day collaborate professionally again if Eve is open to the idea.

"I will do my best to ensure they work together professionally, provided Eve Mungai is willing. As for Trevor, I will personally speak to him."

Mosiria's remarks sparked mixed reactions online, particularly over his suggestion that Director Trevor should help Eve return to her previous content style.
