The IEBC has fined Kipipiri MP Wanjiku Muhia Sh1.5 million for allegedly making inflammatory remarks and inciting violence during a campaign rally in Ol Kalou Constituency. IEBC Commissioner Alutalala Mukhwana said the lawmaker breached the Electoral Code of Conduct. The commission also directed Muhia to issue a public apology over the remarks.
