Liz Jackson Defends Eve Mungai Against Critics

Content creator Liz Jackson has come to the defence of Eve Mungai, dismissing claims that the former celebrity interviewer has lost relevance after shifting away from street interviews.

In a video shared on social media, Liz criticised those questioning Eve's career path, arguing that content creators should be allowed to grow and reinvent themselves without constant public scrutiny.

According to Liz, many people have been asking what happened to Eve after she stopped conducting interviews on camera, with some suggesting she had abandoned the work that made her famous.

'Allow content creators to grow'

Liz said it is unrealistic to expect creators to remain in the same space throughout their careers.

Using her own experience, she explained that she has also changed the type of content she produces over the years.

"You need to allow content creators or people in the public space to grow and evolve."

She revealed that she previously worked as a presenter but later transitioned into travel content, a move she says has significantly improved her earnings.

"If the type of content I was doing in 2022... I was a presenter. I no longer do interviews.I transitioned into travel content, which pays me much more than I was making in 2022."

Liz argued that Eve has made a similar transition and should not be judged simply because she is no longer seen conducting interviews on the streets.

'She's making more money now'

According to Liz, the absence of a microphone does not mean Eve's career has declined.

She disclosed that Eve has diversified her income and is financially doing better than before.

"Just because she's not loitering around with a microphone asking people for interviews doesn't mean she's not bringing money to the table."

Liz went on to reveal that Eve is one of her close friends and insisted that her business ventures are thriving.

"Actually, she's my friend, and I guarantee you she's making more money now than she was years ago."

She added that Eve owns businesses that she does not feel obligated to publicise.

"She has businesses, and it's nobody's business. It's not for her to come and announce."

Liz concluded by urging the public not to equate visibility with success.

"Just because you don't see her loitering around with a microphone doesn't mean she's not making a living."
