Lands CS Alice Wahome has slammed her Public Service counterpart Geoffrey Ruku over his remarks on Mt Kenya’s voting dynamics ahead of the 2027 General Election. CS Wahome rejected attempts to divide the Mt Kenya region along eastern and western lines, arguing that such politics undermines President William Ruto's efforts to unite the country. Her remarks comes a day after CS Geoffrey Ruku claimed that Mt Kenya East does not need support from Mt Kenya West to secure President Ruto's re-election.
