The government is considering increasing capitation for special needs schools to ease financial pressure facing the institutions. Speaking at Sikhendu Secondary School in Trans Nzoia County, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi dismissed claims that the government had sidelined special needs schools in its educational reforms. He said the changes are being implemented fairly to expand access and ensure learners countrywide receive quality, inclusive and affordable education.
