The State Department for Foreign Affairs has announced tougher accountability measures as part of reforms to modernize Kenya's diplomatic service. Foreign Affairs PS Korir Sing'Oei says the government will adopt a zero-tolerance approach to audit queries, procurement weaknesses and financial mismanagement, warning that officers responsible for persistent shortcomings will be held accountable.
