Kenyan content creator Mbavu Destroyer has once again inserted himself into the ongoing rap rivalry involving Buruklyn Boyz and rapper Toxic Lyrikali, this time claiming he has been appointed as the music duo’s personal bodyguard.
Mbavu shared the announcement on social media, where he jokingly declared that anyone wishing to confront Buruklyn Boyz would first have to go through him.
“I have been appointed by the @burukyln_.boyz as their personal bodyguard… so from now onwards… if you want them, you have to pass through me first… nimejaa ngori na itakua mbayaaaaa.”
Although the post appeared humorous, it quickly gained traction online, with fans flooding the comments section with jokes about the self-proclaimed appointment.

At the time, allegations had circulated online claiming that vehicles and a house associated with members of Buruklyn Boyz had been damaged.
However, neither the National Police Service nor any other authority has publicly identified those responsible for the reported vandalism. Likewise, Toxic Lyrikali had not issued a public response to Mbavu’s earlier comments when they were made.
