Gospel singer Karangu Muraya has publicly responded to renewed claims that he neglected his biological children, insisting that he has remained an active and supportive father throughout their lives.
The remarks came in a lengthy Facebook post shared on Saturday, June 27, in which Karangu addressed criticism that resurfaced after Father's Day celebrations. The accusations are the latest chapter in the long-running public fallout between the singer and his estranged wife, Triza Njeri, whose co-parenting disagreements have frequently played out on social media.
Karangu rejects neglect allegations
In the post, Karangu dismissed suggestions that he had abandoned his children, saying he has consistently provided for all seven of his children.

According to the singer, he spent most of the April school holidays with the three children he shares with Triza at his Sobibor home before family circumstances interrupted their stay.
He added that the children continue living in a house whose mortgage he says he pays every month, despite his separation from their mother. He also maintained that he continues to meet their educational needs.
Karangu further alleged that Triza instructed the children's school not to share information with him, making it difficult for him to access updates concerning them.
"Even if I am denied information about my children, I will continue paying their school fees and supporting them."
He also revealed that all seven of his children know one another, saying he formally introduced them after his family matters became public last year.
