Kenyan media personality and entertainer Oga Obinna has sparked conversation online after revealing how much he charges for appearances and master of ceremonies (MC) gigs.
Speaking candidly, Obinna said his services come at a premium because he considers himself a superstar.
“My rate card is in dollars. I am a superstar,” he said.
The entertainer explained that his charges vary depending on the type of engagement a client requires.

According to him, attending an event, performing at an event, and serving as an MC are all separate services with different pricing structures.
“If you want me at your event, you have to pay me what I am charging. If you want me to perform, it’s different. If you want me to just attend, that’s different, too. Kaa huwezi fika bei, it’s just fine,” he said.
Obinna added that he charges 4,000 US dollars to work as an MC and KSh 150,000 for a club appearance, regardless of whether he performs.

In a video posted on his Instagram page, he visited a luxury white mansion that he said had inspired him for years.
The entertainer revealed that he had kept a picture of the house in his bedroom as a daily reminder of his goals.
“I have come to see this beautiful house. I have had this picture in my bedroom for the longest time,” he said. The visit, according to Obinna, represented a significant milestone in his journey.
