Radio Africa Group, one of Kenya’s leading media conglomerates, has achieved a major milestone by surpassing 10 million followers across its social media platforms.

The media powerhouse, headquartered in Westlands, Nairobi was founded by Ghanaian-Kenyan businessman Patrick Quarcoo, media executive William Pike, and businessman Kiprono Kittony.

This year, the group marks 26 years of delivering influential content and shaping public discourse in Kenya and the region.

According to the GeoPoll Q1 2026 Kenya Radio Audience Survey, Radio Africa Group’s combined following across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter) has now crossed the 10 million mark.

This impressive digital milestone underscores the group’s strong connection with audiences and its continued dominance in both traditional broadcasting and the evolving digital media landscape.

Breakdown of the 10 Million Digital Footprint

Facebook remains the media group’s largest platform in terms of audience reach, with 4.9 million followers, followed by TikTok with 1.7 million. On X, Radio Africa Group has 1.3 million followers, making it one of the most engaging social media accounts in the country.

With a total of 1.2 million followers on Instagram, the organization continues to maintain a strong presence among Generation Z, one of the platform’s most active demographics. The group also continues to engage its digital audience through content shared on YouTube, which has now reached 900,000 subscribers.

Individual Station Performance and Standouts

Radio Jambo's Gidi na Ghost has emerged as the country's most-listened-to morning show, attracting an even larger audience on Facebook with a 2 million following, 488,000 subscribers on YouTube, and a total of 872,000 followers on TikTok.

Kiss FM commands the largest Instagram audience within the media group with 914,000 followers. At the same time, Classic 105 continues to dominate the English-language segment on X, where it has attained 568,000 followers. It maintains its status as Kenya's leading breakfast show with a 14.39 percent share of the audience, followed by Radio Jambo , which posted a 10.38 percent share .
