In a video shared on social media, Nicki Bigfish and Mzungu Mjanja announced that the rally would no longer take place.

The pair dramatically tore up what they described as a police permit issued for the event, declaring that Arsenal's triumph had only been postponed rather than cancelled.

"We hereby cancel it. But the meeting is not cancelled. It has been postponed. Our victory has been postponed."

The two then jokingly urged authorities to take action against football fans celebrating PSG's success.

"The police should take legal action against anybody found making noise around the country. Mtu anapatikana anashangilia huyo ni mchawi."
