They include the National Disaster Risk Management Bill, 2023, the Forest Conservation and Management (Amendment) Bill, 2025, and the Equalisation Fund Appropriations Bill, 2025, aimed at strengthening governance, environmental protection, and equitable development across the country.
The President was joined by his Deputy, Kithure Kindiki.
Other leaders who attended the assent ceremony include National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, alongside senior government officials, lawmakers, and representatives from relevant ministries and state agencies involved in the formulation and passage of the legislation.
Speaking during the ceremony, Deputy Chief of Staff in the Executive Office of the President, Josphat Nanok, outlined the significance of the newly enacted laws, noting that they are expected to enhance institutional coordination and improve service delivery in key sectors.
