Kenya Police Bullets will seek to carry their Women's Premier League dominance to the CAF Women's Champions League Cecafa qualifiers, head coach David Vijago has said.
Police secured the title with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Trinity Starlets over the weekend to seal a third championship on the trot. 
Vijago said: “We have worked for this moment, but we also understand bigger challenges are ahead of us.”

He emphasised the need for the squad to remain hungry despite their continued dominance on the local scene. 
Captain Elizabeth Ochaka described the title as a product of discipline and unity within the squad, noting that maintaining standards would now become the team’s biggest responsibility.
“We fought for every match and every point this season. Winning again is special but now everyone will want to beat us, so we must keep improving,” said Ochaka.
Bullets believe early preparations will be key as they head for a regional tournament that has increasingly exposed the gap between local dominance and continental competitiveness. 
The qualifiers are set for August 22-September 6 in Rwanda.
Bullets reached the final of last year's qualifiers but they fell 1-0 to hosts Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE), who represented the region in the Champions League.
The Kenyan side had finished second in Group B with four points after a draw and a win in three matches. They drew 0-0 with Yei Joint Stars of South Sudan, beat Rwanda’s Rayon Sports 1-0, and lost 2-1 to CBE. 
 
In the semifinal, Police Bullets edged Tanzania’s Simba Queens 3-2 to book a final date with group opponents CBE, who beat Uganda's Kawempe Muslim 2-1.
In the final at the Abebe Bikila Stadium, Senaf Wakuma scored for the hosts in the 79th minute.
Bullets technical bench view that experience as foundation rather than a failure, with the club keen to strengthen key areas while retaining the core that delivered the title.
Police patron Dr Raymond Omollo praised the team’s culture and mentality following the latest success, highlighting discipline and consistency as central pillars behind the club’s continued rise.
“Congratulations to Kenya Police Bullets FC for clinching the Women’s Premier League title for a third consecutive season,” Omollo said.
