Wiper Patriotic Front leader Kalonzo Musyoka has called on the government to ensure that every child in Kenya receives uninterrupted access to education.
Speaking during the launch of Lizah Foundation International, Kalonzo expressed concern that many students, particularly those from financially challenged families, are unable to pursue their studies due to inadequate government funding for the education sector.
“It is disheartening to see so many students struggling to continue their education because of financial hardships. The government must allocate sufficient resources to education. I see Wangari Mathai in Lizah, and I believe this foundation will go far in helping the less fortunate. This is a unique responsibility, and such efforts will strengthen our communities,” Kalonzo said.

“The government of President Ruto belongs to everyone. Development will be shared fairly across all regions, regardless of tribe or political affiliation,” Wandayi stated.
Health Principal Secretary Ouma Lunga announced that the Ministry of Health will partner with Lizah Foundation to raise awareness about health issues, aiming to improve safety and wellbeing in communities.
Lizah Foundation International has been at the forefront of supporting environmental projects and ensuring that students from poor families access education.
The foundation also empowers girls to make informed decisions that help them progress in life. It is led by veteran journalist Lizah Mutuku.
Other notable leaders present at the launch included Dr Ezekiel Mutua, CEO of the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK), members of parliament; prominent journalists; and distinguished figures from government and society.
