Mother Never Took Sides

During the interview, Kairo was also asked whether his mother preferred any of his former partners. He said she never interfered with his relationships as long as he was genuinely happy.

According to him, his mother’s main concern was whether he trusted the person he was with and whether they treated him well.

“She was someone who didn’t care as long as you were happy,” he explained.

Responding To Claims About Friends

He maintained that many people close to him showed support privately, including musicians

Bahati and Willy Paul, who reportedly called to console him.

The businessman noted that not every show of support has to be public.

He further surprised many fans after revealing that filmmaker Phil Karanja is actually his cousin.

“Phil is my cousin. That is my family, but people don’t post that,” he said.

Why He Refused TikTok Fundraising

Kairo also addressed reports about online fundraising efforts that emerged after his mother’s burial.

According to videos and posts shared online, Kairo said he declined financial assistance from TikTok fundraisers because he was “perfectly fine” and did not need help meeting burial expenses.

The businessman suggested that not every online fundraising campaign comes from a genuine place, hinting that some people use sensitive situations for attention or personal gain.

“Not everyone does it with good intentions,” he said.

Kairo also referenced previous controversies involving public fundraising drives on social media, saying such incidents made him cautious about accepting assistance publicly.
