The popular Kenyan media personality and TV47 news anchor, Betty Kyallo, has left fans amazed after sharing the rapid developmental progress of her newborn daughter, Aurora Nova.

Only three weeks into her life, the "2026 baby" is already displaying physical and social milestones that typically appear much later in a child's infancy.

Taking to her Instagram stories to update her followers, the mother of two expressed her awe at how different this generation of babies seems to be.

From physical strength to social interaction, Aurora Nova is reportedly moving through traditional developmental stages at an accelerated pace.

Advanced Physical Strength

One of the most striking revelations shared by the news anchor is her daughter's physical coordination. According to Kyallo, Aurora has been lifting her head since she was just two weeks old.

For most infants, gaining enough neck strength to lift their head while on their stomach usually takes a full month or longer.

Even more surprising to the media star is Aurora’s attempt at sitting up. While most babies begin to sit with support between four and seven months, Kyallo noted that her three-week-old is already showing signs of this advanced milestone.

"2026 babies yoooo!! Mad hiccups and lifting the head since week 2," Kyallo shared on her social media.

Visual Awareness and Social Cues

Beyond physical feats, Kyallo observed that Aurora’s senses seem remarkably sharp. The anchor noted that it appears as though the infant can actually see clearly already, reacting to her surroundings with a level of focus unusual for a three-week-old. Newborns typically have blurred vision and can only focus on objects about 20 to 30 centimetres away during their first month.

Kyallo also highlighted a peculiar habit regarding the baby's emotional expression. She described a "no tears" crying style that quickly shifts into a social interaction.

"They cry, no tears. I actually run to her and she’s smiling," Kyallo posted.

Feeding and Daily Life

The journey has not been without its humorous "struggles." Kyallo jokingly mentioned that the little one "fights with the boob" during feeding sessions.

“For real, it’s like she can actually see already, fights with the boobs and sitting up. 2026 babies are different.”

The TV47 presenter, who has been open about her journey as a mum and her return to the limelight, seems fascinated by the unique personality of her second daughter.

These updates come shortly after Kyallo introduced Aurora Nova to the world, following a pregnancy that she kept relatively private before a series of high-profile reveals.
