Primary among these concerns is the spread of false or misleading information, which accounts for twenty-eight per cent of the anxieties shared by the public.

This issue is tied to the problem of inadequate and diverse coverage of key issues, suggesting that nearly a third of the population feels essential stories are either being misrepresented or ignored entirely.

Bias in reporting remains a substantial factor, influencing seventeen per cent of respondents who likely feel that neutrality is declining.

Additionally, the commercialisation of media is visible through a high frequency of advertisements, while systemic issues regarding regulation and freedom of expression both weigh in at 10 per cent.

Minor but notable worries include the prevalence of gaming and gambling content, alongside miscellaneous concerns that collectively highlight a complex environment for information consumers.
