"I Have Only 3 Kids": Simon Kabu Sets the Record Straight on Family Allegations

Simon Kabu, the well-known CEO of Bonfire Adventures, has issued a formal statement to debunk persistent social media rumours. The businessman is taking a firm stand against allegations involving his family and his business portfolio.

For some time, online platforms have been buzzing with claims that Kabu fathered a child with a "certain lady" outside of his known family circle. Kabu has now categorically denied these reports.

He stated clearly that he does not have another "baby mama" or child beyond those he has already acknowledged.

The Record on Family

"It has come to my attention that there are various online allegations linking me to the ownership of a spa and to claims of having a child with a certain lady. At the moment, I am a father to only three children and I take great pride in my role as their father," Kabu stated in his official rebuttal.

He named his children as Maurine, Austin, and Anita, noting that he shares them with two mothers.

He expressed deep pride in his role as their father, seeking to put an end to any speculation regarding "secret" additions to his family.

“I do not, and have never, owned any spa business. I do not have any such “baby mama” or child as alleged,” he added.

Clarifying Business Ownership

Beyond his family life, Kabu addressed claims that he owns a local spa business. He clarified that he does not, and has never, owned a spa.

The confusion appears to stem from his work with entrepreneurs. Through his #KabuSoko initiative, Kabu frequently visits and markets startup businesses to help them grow. He explained that while he promotes these businesses on his platforms, he does not own them.

Legal Action and Integrity

The CEO is not taking these allegations lightly. He described the online publications as "false and defamatory." Kabu revealed that there are currently ongoing defamation cases before the courts regarding these claims.

Kabu emphasised his status as a law-abiding citizen who upholds integrity in all his dealings.

He cautioned against the misuse of his name or image for personal gain or publicity. He urged the public to treat such misinformation with the contempt they deserve.

“I strongly caution against the misuse of my name or image for personal gain, publicity, or favours of any kind. I further require that I be dissociated forthwith from any further link to the said matter.”
