Kenyan TikToker Peter Kioi has sent shockwaves through his online community. In a recent live broadcast, the content creator announced that he is certain he will not survive the year.
Kioi appeared before his followers in a state that many viewers described as intoxicated. During the stream, he spoke candidly about his declining health and his belief that his time is running out.
"The good thing about me is that I’ve accepted that this disease has put me down. So, the next big thing is that don’t miss the event of coming home to condole with my mother,” he said.
“I'm very sure this year cannot end [before I pass]," he added.
A Heartbreaking Diagnosis
The creator revealed the severity of his medical condition. He has been battling kidney failure and complications affecting his liver. Kioi confirmed that one of his kidneys has already failed.

Despite the gravity of the situation, he told viewers he had instructed medics not to remove the failed organ. This revelation has sparked intense discussion among his fans regarding his wellbeing and the progression of his illness.
Choosing a Final Path
In a move that has deeply concerned his supporters, Kioi suggested he is no longer seeking conventional recovery. He expressed a desire to drink himself to the last drop.
This defiant, if tragic, stance was visible during the live session where he appeared to be in a drunk state.
“I have acceoted it wholeheartedly. Unajua kukubali ni kitu nzuri. Sai hata niliamua kunywa kabisa juu nilishindwa kucontrol. You know, one of my kidneys has failed and I told doctors not to remove it,” he said.
He spoke about his mortality with a level of detachment that many found jarring. He urged his followers not to miss the "event" when it eventually happens, referring to his own funeral.
The Reality of Kidney Disease
While Kioi’s case is specific, kidney disease is a growing concern globally. In Kenya, medical reports suggest that approximately 4 million people are living with some form of kidney ailment.
Chronic kidney disease often requires dialysis or a transplant, treatments that can be both physically and financially draining.
Fans have flooded Kioi's comments with a mix of prayers, concern, and pleas for him to seek further medical help. However, for now, the TikToker seems resolute in his decision to live out his remaining days on his own terms.
He ended his message with a simple request for his fans to show up for his family when the time comes, stating that acceptance is a "good thing."
