Kenya’s exports to the United States rose by 28.2 per cent to $653.3 million between January and September 2025, according to data from the US Census.

The figures, highlighted in a Star Digital infographic, show a strong rebound in trade after exports dropped to $509.7 million in 2024.

In 2023, Kenya exported goods worth $563.3 million to the US, down from $631.8 million recorded in 2022.

The 2021 export value stood at $512.7 million.

The latest rise means Kenya has already surpassed the full-year figures for the previous four years within the first nine months of 2025.

The growth signals stronger demand for Kenyan goods in the American market and reflects improved trade performance between the two countries, according to the data published by the US Census.
