Prophet Victor Kanyari of the Salvation Healing Ministry has stepped in to support the family of Musa Kihara. Musa is the young boy who recently went viral for his eloquent directions to the Kwa Mbae shop.

The family visited Kanyari’s church on Sunday, where the preacher offered them financial assistance and a call for further community help.

A Generous Blessing for the Kihara Family

During the church service, Prophet Kanyari gifted the family KSh 40,000. This donation comes as the family grapples with a severe health crisis involving Musa’s brother.

“Familia ya kwa Mbae wamekuja na i have blessed them with 40,000ksh,” Kanyari said.

Musa’s mother addressed the congregation, confirming that one of her children is battling cancer.

She revealed that her son had undergone a major operation just days prior.

The surgery took place on Friday at the Kenyatta University Teaching and Research Hospital.

“We brought him to the hospital on Thursday, and he was operated on Friday, and as we speak, he has been moved back to the ward from ICU,” the mother said.

A Call to Action for April 26th

Kanyari is now rallying Kenyans to take further action. He has organised a visit to the family’s home on 26 April. The goal of the visit is to provide additional support to the boy’s brother, who is still recovering.

The prophet shared his intentions on social media, encouraging his followers to join the cause. This initiative follows a wave of public interest in the family since Musa first appeared on camera.

From Viral Directions to National Spotlight

Musa Kihara became a household name after a chance encounter with a boda boda rider. The rider found the young boy looking tired and offered him a lift. Musa’s precise and confident directions to his home in Tharaka Nithi charmed the public.

His polite use of the phrase "umeelewa" (have you understood?) became an instant hit online. However, as well-wishers began to visit his home, they discovered the family was facing significant hardships.

Kanyari’s latest contribution adds to the growing list of well-wishers determined to change the fortunes of the "Kwa Mbae" family.

Other notable figures who have visited Kwa Mbae include Geoffrey Mosiria who rallied Kenyans to help the family. Mosiria confirmed that at the time he was posting, they had collected Ksh 600k from well-wishers.
