Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has expressed deep regret following his appearance in a high-profile music video wearing an Arsenal jersey. The artist suggests that the music video has brought "bad luck" to the North London club during a critical phase of the Premier League title race.
A Costly Cameo?
The rapper featured in the official music video for "Finale," a collaboration between Bien and Alikiba. In the video, Khaligraph is seen sporting the Arsenal kit. However, following a string of poor results for the Gunners, the rapper has taken to social media to voice his frustrations.

Khaligraph believes the timing of the video release coincides with Arsenal’s recent slump in form. The club has suffered back-to-back defeats, leaving fans and high-profile supporters like Khaligraph looking for answers.

"It was a big mistake agreeing to be in this video, Hii ndio imeleta swara [This is what brought bad luck],” he posted.
The rapper went as far as publicly requesting the video's creators to alter the content. In a comment directed at Bien Aime, he asked for his segments to be removed from the project entirely.
“@bienaimesol, can you remove that video from YouTube, Delete my parts please,” he asked.
The "Finale" Phenomenon
Despite the controversy surrounding Khaligraph's appearance, the "Finale" music video has been a massive commercial success. In just three weeks since its release, the video has garnered over 17 million views on YouTube.
The collaboration between the Kenyan and Tanzanian stars was highly anticipated. However, for Khaligraph, the musical triumph has been overshadowed by his team's struggles on the pitch.
A Crucial Blow in the Title Race
The rapper’s comments followed Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat to title rivals Manchester City on 19 April 2026. The match was a significant blow to Arsenal’s aspirations of winning their first league title in over two decades.
Rayan Cherki opened the scoring for Manchester City in the 16th minute. Arsenal responded quickly, with Kai Havertz equalising just two minutes later. The match remained tense until the 65th minute when Erling Haaland scored the winning goal for the defending champions.

The result has dramatically shifted the momentum in the Premier League. While Arsenal remain at the top of the table, their lead has been significantly reduced.
Manchester City now sit just three points behind the leaders with a game in hand, putting the title race firmly in their control. For Khaligraph Jones and many Arsenal supporters, the recent run of form has turned a season of hope into one of anxiety.
