"But if the pope calls me, I’ll come back," he joked.

The correspondent later took to social media to share his "confession" with a wider audience. He posted a message stating he had wanted to be a priest but failed. He also asked his followers if it was "too late" or if he could still go back to his original path.

“Confession: I wanted to become a Catholic priest but failed. I'm explaining what happened for the first time. Is it too late or can I still go back?” he teased.
