Vera Sidika, one of East Africa’s most prominent media personalities, has offered a rare glimpse into her personal priorities. In recent snippets from the upcoming "Confidential Stories" interview, the socialite participated in a rapid-fire session that forced her to make quick choices between contrasting lifestyles.
Known for her high-profile life and business ventures, Sidika’s responses suggest a preference for the spotlight over a quiet existence. During the interview, she was asked to choose between fame and inner peace. Without hesitation, she chose fame.
Public Life Over Privacy
The interview, which was conducted in a relaxed, "no pressure" environment, touched on the core of Sidika's public persona. When presented with the choice between a public and a private life, she firmly selected the public path.

This aligns with her career trajectory as an entrepreneur and socialite who has lived much of her life in the media eye.

Sidika also revealed a preference for drama over comedy. This choice may not surprise her long-term followers, as she has frequently been at the centre of trending stories in the Kenyan entertainment industry.
"Fame or inner peace? Fame,” she replied.
Seeking to be Understood
Despite her preference for the limelight, Sidika expressed a desire for deeper connection. When asked if she would rather be admired or understood, she chose the latter.
She also noted that she prefers "real life" over "Instagram," despite having built a massive digital empire.
Sidika maintains a following of over 2.3 million on Instagram alone. This makes her one of the most followed individuals in Kenya. However, her interview answers suggest that she values the person behind the screen more than the curated image.
The Practicality of Love and Career
The most difficult question for the star involved choosing between her career and her love life. She described the choice as a "tough one." Whilst she admitted to being a person who "loves love," she balanced this with a pragmatic view of her professional life.

"I also love [my] career because you can’t eat love,” she added.
Sidika’s rise to prominence began over a decade ago after appearing in the music video "You Guy" by P-Unit. Since then, she has transitioned into a businesswoman, launching beauty products and a high-end spa.
The full "Confidential Stories" interview is expected to provide more depth into these choices. Sidika has often been a polarising figure in the media, frequently discussed for her physical transformations and her relationships.
