Glenn Naibei, the son of Esther Musila, has issued an official statement to address the rumours surrounding his family’s estate.
Speaking on behalf of his siblings, Glenn aimed to clear up what he termed as "misleading claims" that have circulated widely on social media.
The statement was released via Instagram. It follows a period of intense public speculation regarding a legal dispute over the inheritance left by his late father.
The move comes just hours after his mother, Esther Musila, posted a fierce video defending her husband, gospel star Guardian Angel, from being linked to the case.

A Lawful Succession
The family’s legal journey began following the death of Glenn’s father in 2016. According to the statement, the family undertook a lawful process of succession with full transparency.
“Letters of administration were duly issued, with our mother serving as the head administrator, alongside us as beneficiaries. This process was conducted in accordance with the law and with full transparency,” Glenn vexplained.

Glenn clarified that he and his siblings, Gilda and Gideon, are the designated beneficiaries. He was firm in dismissing reports that his mother had been stripped of her rights.
"We would like to state clearly and unequivocally that these claims are false. There has been no disinheritance of our mother at any point," the statement read.
Defending Guardian Angel
A major point of contention has been the involvement of Musila’s current husband, Peter Omwaka, known as Guardian Angel. Both Glenn and Esther have moved to distance the singer from the legal proceedings.

Glenn dismissed suggestions that the gospel artist has ulterior motives regarding the family property. He described such allegations as "baseless, malicious, and untrue."
This sentiment echoed his mother’s earlier comments, where she reminded the public that she had a life-long before meeting her current husband.
"Everything about Esther Musila does not revolve around Guardian. I had a life before him," Musila stated in her video address.
"Normal Legal Mechanisms"
The family acknowledges that there are ongoing court proceedings. However, Glenn insisted these are not signs of a family feud. He described the actions as normal legal mechanisms used by many families to handle administrative matters.
He stressed that the public’s portrayal of a "division or conflict" within the family is inaccurate. The court papers reportedly concern Esther and her children and do not mention Guardian Angel. Musila previously noted that her husband was not even in her life in 2017, the year at the centre of the dispute.

Musila has been vocal about her husband's financial independence. She highlighted that Guardian Angel is a self-made man who knows what it is to be poor and works hard for his own success.
She vowed to protect him from "rubbish" claims made by those seeking "views and likes" online.
