Comedian and philanthropist Eric Omondi has set social media alight after sharing a deeply personal birthday message for his former partner, Lynne Njihia.
The post has intensified whispers that the pair may have quietly reunited, following their high-profile separation in April 2025.
A Heartfelt Tribute
Taking to Instagram, Omondi shared a message that went far beyond a standard birthday greeting. He described Lynne as the greatest mother and told her she is precious to both him and their daughter, Kyla.

“Toto and I love you so much. You are the greatest mother the world has ever had. You are precious to us. I don’t know what we would be or do without you,” Omondi wrote on Instagram.
The post was accompanied by a string of heart and cake emojis, ending with the signature, "We love you, Mama Toto."
The emotional weight of the message did not go unnoticed by Lynne and his millions of followers.
Fans React to "Mrs Omondi"
The response from the public was immediate. Lynne herself replied twice to the post.
“Asanti Baba K. I treasure you both so much. I really appreciate this. Naomba private jet ye pink,” she joked.
Followers were quick to jump on the "reunion" bandwagon. User @litialove commented, "Beautiful. Happy birthday Mrs Omondi.”

@wangui7573 commended Eric Omondi in the way he showers his babymama with love saying, “I love how you appreciate her. Happy birthday to you, girl.”
Others, such as @flex_airbnb_host was quick to point out, saying “Mlirudiana, si ndio?” While @maya_mirian added, “Happy birthday to her, kupendwa raha.”

@konki_mkarime_41 added, “Mamaa for life, no matter what!”
The "First Lady" Stakes
Much of the speculation stems from Omondi’s move into the political and philanthropic arena. Several fans referred to Lynne as the "First Lady," a title she has recently been very protective of.
This follows a recent incident where a woman from the 'Bunge la Mwananchi' publicly proposed to Omondi.
Lynne’s reaction to that proposal was firm, further fueling the idea that the couple is back together.
"First Lady ni mmoja, First daughter ni mmoja pia unless I say otherwise."
Signs of a Thaw
While the couple officially separated in April 2025, their public interactions have become increasingly warm in recent weeks. Just a month ago, Omondi took Lynne and Kyla on a family trip to Kisumu, marking the young girl’s first visit to the lakeside city.

Omondi also used International Women’s Day to publicly appreciate Lynne, a move that fans saw as a significant softening of their post-breakup relationship.
