Esther Musila has broken her silence to defend her husband, the gospel singer Peter Omwaka, better known as Guardian Angel. She is hitting back at online claims linking him to a legal dispute over her late husband’s estate.

The social media personality and career professional took to the internet to clear his name. She stated firmly that her husband has no involvement in the ongoing court case.

The legal matter reportedly involves a dispute with her children regarding the administration of the inheritance left behind by her late husband.

A Firm Defence

Musila expressed her frustration with what she called "busy bodies" trying to discredit her husband’s personality. She made it clear that Guardian Angel was not part of her life during the period when the estate matters began.

She pointed out that the singer was not with her in 2017, the year that serves as a focal point for the current legal issues.

“You all busy bodies and people out here thinking that now you're going to bring my husband Peter, who was not even with me in 2017, into matters just to think that you're going to discredit his personality is not going to work, she hit back.

Musila insisted that his name does not appear on any of the legal documents currently being circulated.

"If you all busy bodies... want to now come dragging my husband's name into nonsense, me, I'll be here to protect him any day because I know he doesn't deserve this kind of rubbish," she added.

Self-Made and Independent

A central part of Musila’s message was her husband’s financial independence. She addressed speculation that the gospel star might be interested in the wealth from her previous marriage.

She described Guardian Angel as a man who has earned everything he has worked for. According to Musila, the singer often works through the night and has no inheritance waiting for him.

She noted that his upbringing taught him the value of hard work, as he knows what it is to be poor.

"Everything about Esther Musila does not revolve around Guardian. I had a life before him," she stated.

The Legal Dispute

The controversy stems from reports that Musila has been taken to court by her son. The case allegedly involves the management of property and assets left behind by her late husband, who passed away in 2016.

Musila challenged those spreading rumours to look at the names on the court papers. She mentioned that the documents concern her and the children and do not involve her current husband. She suggested that some individuals are using his name simply to gain views and likes online.

Looking to the Future

Musila ended her address by asking for privacy and for the public to stop dragging her husband into matters that do not concern him. She explained that while Guardian Angel is a private person who rarely explains himself, she is willing to be the "loud mouth" to defend him.
