Musician and entrepreneur Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, has once again sparked a massive conversation after sharing a series of high-fashion photos accompanied by a bold statement about her future in dating.

In a post that has quickly gone viral, Akothee claimed that any man who gets the chance to date her after she hits menopause will be very lucky.

The "Full-Grown" Woman

Writing to her millions of followers on Facebook, Akothee explained that her age has brought a level of self-awareness that was missing in her younger years.

“The man who will date me from menopause moving forward will be a very lucky man, because he is now dating a full-grown woman who understands herself,” she posted.

She looked back at her previous relationships with a sense of irony. She suggested that those who dated her in the past had a much harder time.

"Wale kule nyuma, wameumia. She was busy finding herself," she wrote, jokingly adding that her former partners deserve "hardship allowances" for the rollercoaster they endured while she was still maturing.

High-Fashion and "Glass-Like" Skin

The statement was paired with a set of her “evergreen” photos that have left fans in a frenzy. In the images, Akothee wears a sleek, ivory-white ensemble with a plunging neckline.

Her look was completed with a perfectly sculpted bob hairstyle and skin that carries a luminous, "glass-like" finish. Despite being a mother of 5 and in her 40s, she has managed to bridge the generational gap, appearing more like a contemporary to her daughters than their mother.

Setting the Standards

Akothee was also very specific about the type of man she expects to meet at this stage of her life. She stated that she is looking for someone aged 50 and above.

Financial independence is a non-negotiable requirement. She made it clear that a potential partner must have enough money to take care of himself.

“Please 50 and above with enough money to take care of himself. I can take care of myself, and we take care of each other’s well-being,” she stated.

Redefining the 40s

The "Boss Lady," as she often refers to herself, has built a reputation for grit and hustle over the years through music and business.

Her disciplined fitness regimen is evident in her toned arms and back, which serve as a visual "clapback" to the idea that women should slow down as they age.
